This past Sunday, I had the pleasure of meeting Abbie and her family! She was an absolute doll. She was happy. Gave us many smiles and giggles along the way. We must of have tired her out though because she was fast asleep in her daddy’s arms before I was even out the door. Thanks again for the great session!Untitled-1

For the past three years, I have been lucky enough to take the local playschool’s pictures. It is honestly one of my favourite few days of the year. I get to act silly while making adorable 3 and 4 year olds smile. The 4 years olds get to dress up in their graduating cap and gown and I adore the sense of pride that shows on their faces. Here is just one of my own daughter…

Mr. A is a sweet little guy with such a personality. He is full of smiles. He loves his toys. He LOVES to stick out his tongue and even more so, he loves great music. The trick of the day to get him to smile? Singing “Hey Soul Sister” by Train. Worked like a charm, every time!

Here is a sneak peak of a few images from this sessions. I look forward to seeing him in another short 6 months as we complete his baby plan and celebrate his first birthday 😀

New babies are such a blessing. And being invited into my clients homes and watching parents fall head over heels deeper in love with their new blessing is such an honour. Truly. My week began with this awesome newborn session. The love for this new little one, five days fresh was heartwarming. This little guy was a joy to photograph…awake a bit and sleeping just when we needed him to. Congrats J & C on your beautiful bundle and thanks for welcoming me into your home to capture him!

Wow! I have slacked on the blog front and I apologize. I have been working. I have taken a ton of pictures of some wonderful clients. And I have posted to facebook. In the busy aspect of life, facebook is quick. It does nothing however, to tell my client’s stories. So back to blogging it is as the winter lull in business subsides and things really start to pick up again.

I just returned from an amazing convention in Las Vegas and boy, are there changes to come to Head Over Heels Photography. Great changes. More boutique products. More personalized options. It’s going to be awesome and I can’t wait to implement the changes. All changes to be “live” by April 1st.

Over the next few days, I hope to update the blog with a few images from recent past sessions that have not been blogged. For now I will leave you with a favorite image from a recent maternity session. Kristin is an old friend of mine. We spent a ton of time together when we were little and I have some great memories of time spent with her, and the rest of her family. She just welcomed her new little one and I’m going to head her way for a slightly late newborn session in a little over a week. Can’t wait 😀
