Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting up with an old friend and her children for what will turn out to be my last session before Christmas. The kids were great sports and we did a few inside before trucking out in the snow to capture a few images on the farm.

Though I have two more sessions before the end of the year, this will likely be my last post of 2009! Head Over Heels Photography has had an incredible year. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support over the past year. I feel incredibly blessed to be invited to help capture those all important moments between friends, families and loved ones. Though I have always had a passion for photography, it has increased tenfold this past year. I am so excited for 2010 and all that I will be able to bring to you! I have some new products to be offered. I have many ideas to challenge myself. And I have a few plans in the works for my side of the business.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas. May 2010 be filled with many blessings and much joy!

I belong to a photography forum filled with amazing photographers. I get ideas, learn new techniques and talk shop with some of the most talented people I have ever seen! Today I came across another members blog who is participating in Cans for Comments.

How does it work? Well, it’s all about your comments! I appreciate all comments left on my blog. I love to read them…it gives me an idea as to who is checking things out! And while I love them for my own benefit, why not put your comments to good and better the lives of a few people this Christmas season? For every comment left on my blog (under any post) between now and December 22, I will donate a can of food to our local food bank!

Well, if it didn’t quite feel like the Christmas season before, it does now!! We have snow everywhere out at the farm, and boy is it COOOOOOLD! Winter hit hard and furious wouldn’t you say?

Those who know me know that I love to give! I love to surprise people and most of my clients know this. Quite simply put, it makes me happy! I have had a great year and am so thankful for all my clients who helped make 2009 a great success for Head Over Heels Photography! So this little contest is about me giving back. And it will allow you the chance to give too!

I am looking for nominations…nominations for families and/or individuals in the Edmonton/Red Deer area who deserve a little something special. Maybe times are tough. Maybe someone is a pillar of strength and puts everyone’s needs before their own. Maybe someone is a key member of your community and works hard to make this world a better place. Regardless of the situation, I am looking for individuals who are truly inspirational to you and those around you!

Up for grabs is my “Spice Collection”…a full session including a 16×20 wall portrait, 20 5×7 prints, a DVD slideshow and all high resolution images on a disc.
