I love all ages and all kinds of sessions! I have been capturing so many newborns lately, it was nice to mix it up by capturing that all important 6 (ish) month milestone of Faith. 6 months is a very fun age for me to photograph! At this age, kids have that new found skill of sitting, and pushing and crawling and it’s fun to get their expressions as they proudly demonstrate their new abilities. Add to that the fact that these girls are both very special to me (not only is Faith my goddaughter, but I was there for the birth of both these little girls) and it made for a really fun session!!

April 20, 2010After 6 months of shooting inside, it was purely blissful to get outside on a beautiful spring evening for an engagement session with Kim and Kyle. Set to get married this September, this fun couple was game for everything as we explored a local park and then took to downtown for a bit of an urban flair. This was a great way to start my wedding season, and I am looking forward to capturing that special day for you guys!!

Meet Anika. This little girl is so very adorable! She has the cutest cheeks, makes the cutest little sounds and absolutely LOVES her hands. 4 days new, she was simply a dream!

April 15, 2010I am so blessed! Through Head Over Heels, I get to meet such amazing families. Families full of love and joy. I get to help preserve those fleeting moments that we wish would stay just a little bit longer. Yes…I am a very lucky girl.
Yesterday I met Rachel and her family for an amazing session. Her mom and dad called me at the perfect time and at five days old, Rachel slept through it all! She let me move her and mold her and move her some more. And to put it simply…she is perfect. She is beautiful in every way.
Thank you so much for inviting me into your home. I truly enjoyed the session…the “surprises” and all

April 1, 2010Aside from the photography aspect of Head Over Heels, one of my favorite things is to provide my clients with unique products to showcase their images. By far, the most popular of our products has been mini accordion albums. These 3×3 mini scrapbooks make the greatest gifts for family. They are also the perfect brag books to tuck into a mom’s purse.
