Senior or grad photography is HUGE in the states. And I have to say, this is an area in which I’d like to do more work!! Graduating from high school is a huge accomplishment and should be documented with more than your normal cap and gown pictures! Grads with their unique personalities, are simply so much fun to work with! Game for anything to get the perfect shot, grads allow photographers to really play and creatively explore. It’s so much fun.

I met with Candice and Lindsay the day before their graduation ceremonies to get a few shots of them in their beautiful dresses. Though we weren’t able to get crazy creative for fear of getting their dresses dirty, we were able to grab some classic shots of these two beauties!!

These two girls were my grad representative this year. To learn how you can get a complimentary session and earn free prints, please drop me an email! I am still looking for a few of next years grads from various schools to become an ambassador for the grad side of Head Over Heels Photography!!

Some fun products

April 1, 2010

Aside from the photography aspect of Head Over Heels, one of my favorite things is to provide my clients with unique products to showcase their images. By far, the most popular of our products has been mini accordion albums. These 3×3 mini scrapbooks make the greatest gifts for family. They are also the perfect brag books to tuck into a mom’s purse.

Below are some product shots to give you an idea as to what the completed product resembles…

(Beware…I am no product photographer!!)

Below are some examples of various templates in which you can choose (there are many more as well)…

The pink polka…

Another example…

The Meredith…

I have several other templates, but I hope this gives you a little bit of an idea as to one of the many other products we are able to provide.

If you have any questions about these products, give me a call!

This past Sunday, I had a successful and busy day filled with Valentine’s mini sessions. Done as a fundraiser for the Dancer’s Edge Parent’s Association, I had fun capturing the smiles and giggles of kids of various ages…ranging from 6 months to 18 years, and a few adults got caught up in the fun of it all too! My thanks to Miss Heather who welcomed me into her beautiful studio. I HIGHLY recommend her studio for anyone who may be looking into dance for themselves, or their kids. She is amazing and has such a passion for the art of dance. I wish I lived closer!!

Here is just a taste of what we did…I will be posting a few more as I go through them!

High School Senior Photography is huge in the states! Kids get their cap and gown pictures done with the school’s contracted photographer for the yearbook, and then book in with a portrait photographer for some fun, personality packed pictures. It is slowly ¬†catching on over here.

These sessions are so much fun, and they are definately something I’d like to do more of!
Meet Martine! This beautiful girl contacted me to take some more formal pictures of her before her grad. She has amazing eyes, and was an absolute joy to work with.
Congratulations Martine on reaching this all important milestone. Best of luck to you in the future!
